Around 9.45pm on September 6, a woman was allegedly involved in a street disturbance on Abel Smith Parade, involving about 20 other people.
It is alleged this woman had possession of a golf club and swung it at several persons during the altercation.
A 19-year-old Pioneer woman has been charged with going armed so as to cause fear.
She is due to appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on September 23.
A boy remains in critical condition after being run over by a passing car during the same incident.
