What does the prime minister and the Premier of Queensland not get?
Australia has had the solution for our water problems since 1939, 80 years!
It's the Bradfield Scheme.
The only person to champion this is Pauline Hanson.
The utter incomprehensible stupidity of spending over 50 billion dollars building diesel powered submarines designed for nuclear power could only come from Canberra.
Is prime minister Scott Morrison really arrogant enough to prioritise this project over what the country really needs, water?
What will he back?
Life with water or death in a sardine can, it costs about the same,
The Chinese have already hacked the plans and technology for the submarines so what is the point?

Playing drought politics is a disgrace
What a disgrace Labor Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is for politicising drought funding in Queensland.
The attempts to use the Federal Coalition's revolutionary $5 billion Future Drought Fund instead of finding its own funds is a new low for the Palaszczuk Labor Government.
It's time to work with the Federal Government to support our farmers and drought affected Queensland.
It's time to stop playing petty and destructive politics and start the heavy lifting. The Government should do its job.
The drought situation in Queensland is catastrophic and blame game demonstrates Annastacia Palaszczuk's weak leadership.
It's completely hypocritical for the Palaszczuk Labor Government to lecture on drought support when they have overseen cuts to future freight and fodder subsidies for farmers who need to keep their stock alive.
It's outrageous that there is $50 million less in forward drought support funding all the while this Labor Government fails to build and deliver the water infrastructure we need to future-proof the state from drought.
In fact, we have a Labor Government so anti-dams that they are tearing down the walls of Paradise Dam near Bundaberg and rapidly shrinking Rookwood Weir Project up near Rockhampton.
In Queensland we have a situation where millions of litres of water are being poured into the ocean while towns like Stanthorpe and farmers on the Downs are drying up.
The only reason funding for drought is increasing year on year is because more and more farmers are buckling and accepting support, not from any new measure or initiatives that the state Labor Government has announced.
A Deb Frecklington Liberal National Party Government will build the drought-proofing water infrastructure Queensland needs and provide the support farmers and their communities require to endure this drought.

Some responses to Mayor Joyce McCulloch's latest column
Kate Lavell Loving the roundabout projects!! Would also love to see one at the Pamela and East street intersection, but I don't think there would be room.
Nicole Kahler-Viene or just an actual turning lane for turning right from east onto Marian! Always get stuck behind people when I'm trying to cross straight through the lights every morning
Gary Osman The major improvement to our city completed and to be competed is greatly appreciated far the great majority of residents. Mount Isa is going ahead with councils open and innovative approach in very difficult circumstances.
