The latest season of My Kitchen Rules aired on Channel 7 on Sunday February 2, and showcased previous teams of MKR stars and new teams go head to head.
When MKR stars, including Jac and Shaz, began entering the competition the new teams admitted they were feeling more pressure.
"Oh my god, it's Jac and Shaz," one couple exclaimed.
"I'm definitely feeling a bit more pressure now."
Once seated at the table, head chef, Pete Evans, addressed Jac and Shaz and asked them to tell the group where they got to in the competition.
"We were runners up in season 6," Shaz said.
"We got pipped at the post by two points, so we are here to redeem ourselves."
While discussing what has happened in Mount Isa since they left the show, head chef Manu Feildel said the town put up a big billboard with their faces on it.
"It says Jac and Shaz, legends of Mount Isa," Shaz explained.
"Even five years on, I still cannot believe we get stopped in the street."
When asked what would happen if they won this season, Shaz said "There is a great big stack, really plain and not much there."
"I am completely confident, I am betting cattle stations on it."
Jac and Shaz are yet to cook on the show.
