Queensland Indigenous musician and entertainer David Hudson has joined the line up for Karumba's Outback by the Sea festival next month.

Outback by the Sea is a ten-day festival at Karumba bookended at the start by events at the Barramundi Discovery Centre and at the and at the end by the Karumba Fishing Classic on the October long weekend.
The event kicks off on Saturday, September 26 with the official opening of the new hatchery at the Centre and its associated "love shack", the barra breeding tank, the only hatchery in the world to breed the Southern Gulf Strain of the fish.
David Hudson will perform at a free concert later that day at the Centre followed by a week of gourmet food stalls and workshops.
Hudson is internationally or his music and has released over 27 albums showcasing his talents as a multi-instrumentalist adding guitar, kit drums and percussion to his mastery of the didgeridoo.
Also confirmed on the bill at the concert is North Queenslander Tim Griffin.
