The Atkinson family alias the AWOL family have been travelling across the world for 12 years and their latest showcase brings out the beauty of North and North West Queensland on the Overlanders Way drive from Townsville to Mount Isa.
The journey takes in tourist attractions such as Charters Towers' Texas Longhorn Tours followed by the beautiful Porcupine Gorge National Park north of Hughenden,
It then takes in dinosaur trail in Hughenden and Richmond before the family relax in the popular bathhouse experience and dunnart feeding at Julia Creek.
They then move on to Cloncurry's John Flynn Place museum before finishing up at Mount Isa where the family check out the Hard Times mine tour and Riversleigh Fossil Centre and enjoy the sunset at Lake Moondarra.
The Overlanders Way Facebook page promoted the video thanking them for promoting the region with the showcase video.
"These wanderers show how to travel with kids with a sense of adventure, fun and ease," the page said.
