IN DEMAND: Interest in the Hughenden Irrigation Project is strong, according to HIPCo chairman Shane McCarthy. The project would see a dam built adjacent to the Flinders River on Saego Station.

The Hughenden Irrigation Project has been given a plug by Prime Minister Scott Morrison as proponents work to finalise the business case, due to be complete in about September.
