Centre Manager Tracey Groom has been at Ngukuthati since January, and said it is important to engage with the community and let them know what’s on offer.

All services are free to the public.
Ngukuthati is funded by the Qld gov and the federal government.
North West Queensland Indigenous Catholic Social Services is the body that oversees Ngukuthati among other services.
The open day attracted many young families with children, alongside local community groups Bush Kids, NWRH, Save the Children, Living with Lead, ICAP, YPA, DV action group, Queensland Indigenous Family Violence Legal Service, Child Health.
“Today has been fantastic, we’ve had a great turn out with the families and service providers and I’m really happy with the success of the day,” Ms Groome said.
