Participants will get the chance to have a crack at this cheeky competition in two heats in Townsville and Mount Isa before the finals, to be held as part of the iconic Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival.
“Almost like Australia’s got talent, it’s a performance, you’ve got to get up there, show off your asset and shake it – poke fun at yourself and have a laugh,” Dirt n Dust president Stephen Malone said.
“Don’t be fooled by the name, this competition is cheeky but still clean. Entrants must be in their jeans to participate and are given several chances on stage to shake it before being knocked out of the competition.”
The heat in Mount Isa will be held at the Buffs Club on Saturday March 2, and Townsville’s opportunity will be held at the Bohle Barn on Saturday March 13.
The finals for the Australia’s Best Butt Competition will take place on Saturday April 13 and will feature the winners from all heats.
