Following its successful debut last year, the 2019 Rodeo ball will once again be held inside the Buchanan Park arena.
Our guests loved the location of the ball inside the famous rodeo arena, so it was an easy decision to stage it again in the Buchanan Park arena for the event's 60 year anniversary.
The ball marks the official start of Rodeo Week and is a night to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our Rodeo Queen Quest entrants.
This year's theme, Diamond Country Luxe celebrates the Isa Rodeo's 60 year milestone.
The highlight of the Bell & Moir Toyota ball is always the crowning of our Rodeo Queen and Charity Queen.
This year, we have an incredible SEVEN hard working entrants in this year's Queen Quest .
They are Aimee Sewell (Mount Isa Police Citizens Youth Club), Allison Nicholson (Mount Isa Community Ensembles Inc), Bron Myers (Mount Isa Base Hospital Auxiliary Inc Cancer Care Unit), Kat Ufer (SES Mount Isa Group), Kate Lovett (North West Queensland Mental Health Network), Kellie Pigliafiori (Royal Flying Doctor Service) and Tony "Tonka" Toholke (This is a Conversation Starter Foundation).
The Isa Rodeo Queen and Isa Rodeo Charity Queen when crowned, will become Rodeo Ambassadors for this year's event.
The ball is the culmination of months and months of hard work for our entrants, and their supporters and an opportunity to publicly thank and acknowledge their efforts.
Don't forget we have the last remaining art union tickets available in the art union, which is one of the rodeo's major fundraisers. Only 2800 tickets will be sold, and at $100 per ticket there are great odds to drive away in one of two Bell & Moir Toyotas worth $95,000 and $30,000 and third prize of a $3000 Helloworld travel voucher. Tickets are available online via www.isarodeo.com.au/tickets/art-union
