It was all for a good cause to raise money for Eli's Gift, which supports families with sick children.
The journey began in Melbourne six months ago and will continue all around Australia.
Coffee bus owner Lawrence Norton said after experiencing love at first sight with an old double decker bus for sale over 12 years, ago a vision was born.
"The salesman asked me what on earth I would do with a double decker bus," Mr Norton said.
"On the spot I told him I was going to drive it around Australia for charity."
From there the dream came into reality and Mr Norton went to work.
"It took me three years to work on the bus to renovate the whole thing and everything in here is recycled and made from wood," he said.
Nine years later Mr Norton embarked on his long awaited journey.
"I launched the bus at Australia's first tiny homes festival in Bendigo six months ago, I had zero money in my bank account and the first tank of fuel was donated," he said.
"It was a bit like jumping off a cliff and hoping the universe would catch me, luckily the festival was a success and it really kick started the journey."
All of the money from the coffees goes straight to the foundation Eli's Gift.
Mr Norton has raised $25,000 in the first six months and projects he will continue for another year.
