Council said the two off-leash dog parks - at Edna Medley Park in Sunset, and at Norm Smith Park at Mornington are now open again after they were closed on March 31.
Council said the decision was made by its COVID-19 Response Group and they ask that visitors continue to practise social distancing at all times while at the parks.
Council said that the parks that have play equipment - including the Family Fun Park, Playway Park, Quota Park, the Skate Park and Ron McCullough Park - remain closed until further notice.
"Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks community members for their patience and understanding during the COVID-19 restrictions," Council said.
