Terri Grosser's life since July 2016 has consisted of five major operations, invasive surgical procedures to remove lymph nodes, multiple stage 4 bowel tumours, hernia, lymphedema causing constant swelling of her leg as well as colonoscopies, endoscopies, MRIs, ultrasounds, PET and CT scans to which she has a severe allergic reaction, and multiple blood tests and cannulations
Collectively Terri has had 19 melanoma tumours over the years and today, there are two more in her bowel, which may require further surgery.
With Terri and her family based in Mount Isa and her husband Brian a shift worker it is extremely taxing on the whole family while the majority of Terri's medical procedures take place in Townsville, 900 km away.
Friend of Terri's mum, Jann George, who has launched the GoFundMe said despite all this Terri was a brave young mother of three children who continues to fight.
"I realise things are tough for many. I understand that it is a difficult time to ask for help for Terri because we are all impacted by Covid-19 to some extent, and I realise Christmas and the Festive Season is coming up for many of you," Jann said.
"All I can do is appeal to you to support Terri financially if you are able to."
