The Mount Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after a serious four wheel drive rollover over the Queensland border, in the Northern Territory (NT) outback.

It's believed the male patient, in his 30s, was overdue returning to a property, around 130km west of Camooweal, so the station owners commenced a search for him.
They came across him walking to find help, after the vehicle he had been driving reportedly rolled several times.
The people who found him said he had been walking for more than one hour, in over 40 degree heat.
The station owners brought him back to the homestead and called emergency services.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper was one of several agencies to respond, just after 6pm.
Two nurses from a Queensland Health clinic drove two hours, to treat the patient for numerous injuries, before the rescue helicopter arrived.
The man was subsequently flown to Mount Isa hospital, in a stable condition, under the care of a Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic.
Due to the distance, the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew had to plan where they could refuel on the way and on their return, as the return trip was over 600km.
