Friday and Saturday September 24-25 will see the first pop-up vaccination clinic at the shopping centre, just outside the Kmart entrance, where all are welcome to drop in and receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
NWHHS Acting CE Dr Karen Murphy said the pop-up clinic was another way to make COVID vaccinations easily accessible for Mount Isa residents.
"We have seen the success of offering vaccinations in a variety of locations and are excited to provide another avenue for residents to easily access a vaccination," Dr Murphy said.
"All Mount Isa residents are welcome to come along and receive a COVID vaccination as we continue to be proactive and protect the North West."
Anyone over the age of 12 is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination and will be able to receive their vaccine at the clinic.
The Mount Isa Civic Centre Vaccination Clinic will be closed from Thursday and will reopen on Monday September 27.
