The Telstra Shop Mount Isa team is the latest business to donate, kindly offering $3000 to the cause raising funds for cancer.
A Best Dressed Premises competition for local businesses in Purple Power Week is also under way with businesses asked to ‘‘purple up’’ with staff wearing purple to work and shop-fronts decorated in the bright colour. Residents can nominate businesses by contacting us through the Relay for Life Facebook page.
The relay will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Mount Isa Rugby Grounds.
Organisers are still looking for more businesses to come on board and support the event and boost the fund-raising totals.
