Mr Coghlan won first prize in the 2015 Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo Art Union raffle, winning a Toyota 200 Series LandCruiser GXL.
His winning ticket was part of a bet that the Queensland Maroons would win this year’s State of Origin series.
“Me and my dad put a bet on for the [State of] Origin every year, so he said with the $100 to go and buy a ticket,” he said.
The new family car has come just in time with a new addition of 2-month-old Hunter Coghlan with partner Kayla Bartram.
Bell and Moir Toyota principal Lee Pulman was proud to continue his close involvement with the Rotary Rodeo Art Union.
Mr Pulman said Bell and Moir Toyota had been part of the Rotary Rodeo Art Union for many years and was part of their ‘‘locals supporting locals’’ company policy.
Second prize winner Dan O’Hanlon, from Gympie, and originally Mount Isa, won a Toyota 86 GT Coupe.
Third prize was a $3000 travel voucher from Helloworld, which was won by Jason Carlin.
