The Stamford Sports Club got $3198 for a garden maintenance program to assist the club purchase a lawn mower and whipper snipper for a maintenance program.
The Lions Club of Hughenden got $7480 for finish the fitting out and refurbishing a mobile catering van for functions.
Hughenden Country Music Association got $974.35 for equipment for the Country Music Festival to print certificates and collating scores and office duties.
Flinders River Roping Association Inc was granted $9500 to assist in upgrading the community area, so that the arena can be used for more community events. It is proposed to build a shelter with a concrete floor so spectators have shelter from inclement weather as well as being used as a canteen area.
Pool fencing will be erected around the community area, fencing off spectators and competitors and animals and to assist in keeping children from traffic.
