Tucked away on Vintage Lane opposite the airport, a couple dozen old school cars were on display to the public.
Gates opened at 9am for the annual show, which attracted a strong contingent of local motor enthusiasts.
The club’s motor show had been going since 1975 on the club grounds which are leased from Mount Isa City Council.
Vintage Holden, Ford and Toyota cars were some of the favourites on display, considering the three companies ceased Australian manufacturing operations in the past two years.
Local resident Tom Martens was proudly showing off his 1974 Holden Monaro HQ on Sunday morning.
The Holden Monaro HQ is often considered one of the best looking body designs to come from an Australian producer.
