On Sunday, November 11 at 11am, more than 80 people braved the heat to attend the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cloncurry Cenotaph.
Mace Bennett Executive Member of the Cloncurry RSL said it was well attended.
“St Joseph’s school turned out in uniform, the Police force was well represented and so were the Emergency services,” Mr Bennett said.
An address by the interim President of the RSL, Frank Miotto and the Mayor of Cloncurry, Greg Campbell spoke about the sacrifices made by the soldiers.
