The chopper was called to a sick patient, north east of Mount Isa on Tuesday February 5.
Vision captured from the chopper during the journey, shows how much of the previously drought-affected land is now underwater.
There are also significant road closures across the region.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue's Director of Aeromedical Services, Brian Guthrie, says it's major weather events like this, which highlight just how important the service is to Queensland communities.
"When roads are cut, and traditional first responders can't reach people in need, the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopters are ready to respond," Mr Guthrie said.
2018 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,724 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
LifeFlight is a community-based charity funded and supported by the LifeFlight Foundation.
