Spinifex Principal Mr Phil Sweeney gave a motivating speech to guests and reassured them of the schools commitment to developing the leaders of tomorrow.
“Our purpose is to inspire each other to be productive local and global citizens who shape our futures through the pursuit of excellence,” Mr Sweeney said.
Mr Sweeney, Head of Senior Campus Mr Chris Pocock and special guest Lead Principal of Centre for Learning and Wellbeing Mr Tim Moes, presented badges and congratulated students on their newly appointed roles.
Year 12 senior student leadership team comprised of School Captains Cody Burnett and Naomi Spitzner - Lewis, Vice Captains Domenico Maragna and Jack Muller, Indigenous Captain Antonia Connelly and Executive Officer Sharon Russo.
Year 9 Junior Campus Captains include Jenisha Abraham, Natasha Connelly, Kathleen Farrelly, Lachlan Fietz and Indigenous Junior Campus Captain Maxi Brennan.

Sports House Captains selected were Kaseylee Creer and Serena Pigliafiori for Julius House, Haydn Andrews and Jherico Sapinosa for Leichhardt House, Patrick Brogden and Allisa Sidnell for Moondarra House and Charlee Larkin and Lachlan Lowe for Rifle House.
School House Representatives for Year 10 and 11 and Year 8 Year level leaders were also announced.
