The new art exhibition features Ms Toohey's latest work with acrylics and oils on canvas.
MsToohey was born in Switzerland in 1972 and migrated to Australia in 2001.
"Art has been my passion for the last 25 years," Ms Toohey said.
"Eventually I'm hoping to integrate art with my psychology profession and offer art therapy as part of my skill set."
Ms Toohey likes to bring colour into people's lives and provide food for thought with her art.
Her first solo exhibition was in 2000 in Zurich, Switzerland, and she has exhibited her art on several occasions since then.
The Mount Isa Regional Art Gallery is located at Outback at Isa in 19 Marian Street and open daily from 8.30am - 5.00pm.
