Mount Isa's prices vary by up to seven cents a litre throughout the city with the most expensive as of Friday morning October 4 for unleaded 91 being Caltex at 164.9 cents per litre and the cheapest Puma at 157.9 cents per litre.
Diesel prices are slightly cheaper in Mount Isa with the most expensive as of October 4 being United at 156.9 cents per litre and the cheapest being Puma at 150.9 cents per litre.

RACQ spokesperson Renee Smith said in the last two weeks we have seen a substantial increase in the ULP price in Mount Isa, with prices jumping by 18 cents per litre.
"This is partly due to the spike in the oil price and partly due to increases in indicative retail margins," Ms Smith said.
"The oil price has fallen and may fall further, but will it will take a while for this to fully filter through and for retail fuel prices in Mount Isa to dip again."
Ms Smith said motorists should look for the cheapest price in Mount Isa.
