Ms Arnold died from her injuries on Saturday September 16, aged 69.
She had been in a car crash two days earlier on the Flinders Hwy.
Around 2:40pm on September 14 a three tonne Toyota Dyna truck, towing a car trailer containing a shell of a VW Golf, was travelling east from Charters Towers.
On approaching the intersection of Giru Woodstock Road, the truck blew a tyre, causing it to drift onto the incorrect side of the road, hitting into a guard rail and causing it to spin before coming to rest.
The passenger side of the vehicle sustained the most damage, resulting in Ms Arnold sustaining severe injuries as a result.
The 70-year-old male driver suffered severe shock but was not physically injured.
Police are encouraging anyone who has any information about the crash or who has dash-cam footage, to contact Policelink on 131 444.
