Several hundred students and parents attended the ceremony at the Mount Isa Civic Centre on Monday February 10.
Principal Phil Sweeney and Head of Senior Campus Chris Pocock alongside special guests Member for Traeger Robbie Katter, Mayor Joyce McCullough and Deputy Mayor Phil Barwick presented badges and congratulated students on their newly appointed roles.
The Year 12 senior student leadership team comprised of School Captains Charlotte Leech and Alfin Thomas, School Vice Captains Jasmine Connelly and Jessika Russell, Indigenous Captain Seleena Blackley and Student Council Executive Officer Cassandra Cedeno.
Year 12 School House Captains selected were Aysah Griffin and Frank Moro for Moondarra House, Arnold Crayford and Nicole Tutor for Julius House, Mikayla Norton and Jose Pena Araya for Leichhardt House and Shilah Caulton and Joseph Kingdom for Rifle House.
Year 9 Junior Campus Captains included Trinity Eussen, Amanda Hamilton, Hannah Osinski, Hannah Smith and Junior Campus Indigenous Captain Keara Hookey.
