The Zonta Club of Mount Isa will host their annual International Women's Day Dinner at Buchanan Park on March 7, to inspire and recognise women's local achievements.
Zonta Club of Mount Isa member Danya Benson, said tickets were $90 each and included dinner and entertainment.
"The night will include a three course meal, guest speaker and comedian Stephanie Tisdell and musical entertainment from Pacific Groove," Ms Benson said.
"This has been planned to be a light and fun night with a 1920s theme.
"We thought we are stepping into 2020 why not have a 1920s theme, people can choose to dress up if they would like, however it isn't compulsory."
Ms Benson said a big part of the night was the recognition of women's achievement.
"We have a Woman of Achievement Award and a Young Woman of Achievement Award, which recognises women in the community who a doing unseen work and working hard for everyone," she said.
"We have received a high intake of nominations for the Young Woman of Achievement Award, which is great to see."
Ms Benson said event was a great opportunity to have a night out with friends with 400 tickets available to the event.
"It's a fun night to get a group of friends together," she said.
"Men are welcome as well, this isn't just a women's only event.
"Don't worry if you don't have a table of 10, but we have individual seating available."
Event founder Cherry Brosnan said this event was not so much of a fundraiser but a service to the community.
"we don't make a lot of money through this event, we consider it more to be a service for the women of the town to be able to bring them a good-quality guest speaker and a chance to dress up and enjoy the night," Ms Brosnan said.
"So making money is not our priority on that night because we do have a lot of other fundraising ventures.
"If by chance we do many money from the event, the money goes towards initiatives that Zonta support including North West Breast Cancer and women's shelters."
