Fine weather ahead for Easter long weekend

Perfect Autumn weather is predicted with the slight chance of a shower.

Good Friday (April 10) should see partly cloudy conditions with a slight (20 per cent ) chance of a shower in the evening. A maximum temperature of 33 degrees is expected during the day and an overnight low of 19 degrees

On Saturday the chance of rain will disappear with sunny conditions and light winds expected. A maximum temperature of 34 degrees is expected, with an overnight temperature of 18 degrees.

Similar conditions are predicted for Easter Sunday, with sunny conditions and light winds becoming southeasterly 20 to 25 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the day. A maximum temperature of 34 and overnight low of 18 is predicted.

As for early in the week, Monday April 13 is predicted to reach a top of 34 degrees and a low of 18 degrees.

Tuesday is predicted to reach a top of 35 and a low of 19 degrees.

Wednesday is expected to reach a top of 35 degrees and a warmer overnight temperature of 21.

As for lake levels, Lake Moondarra is currently sitting at 87.37 per cent, while Lake Julius sits at 97.25 per cent.
