The Isa Running and Triathlon Club will get $34,060 to construct a new storage shed while the Mount Isa Special School has been promised $35,000 to buy a bus.
Other North West Queensland recipients include the Mount Isa Rugby Union Club and the Sedan Dip Sports and Recreation Club.
KAP Leader and Member for Traeger Robbie Katter said the cash injection would assist local groups in trying times.
"With the CGBF grants it is a matter of if you don't ask, you don't receive, so it is very important all community organisations be aware that this pool of funding is available to them and keep their eye out for future rounds," Mr Katter said.
"We have so many organisations across Traeger doing great things in their local communities, and this money is there to ensure these groups can undertake upgrades and buy equipment that assists them in their goals."
