Queensland Ambulance Service said two patients were transported to Mount Isa Hospital both in stable conditions following a single-vehicle crash on the Barkly Highway at 2.50am Friday August 14.
There were no reports of any traffic blockage as a result of the accident and it is not clear if the incident involved cattle or other animals.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads advises caution in all nighttime driving between Camooweal and Cloncurry due to the possibility of cattle on the road.
