Mount Isa City Council is inviting the city's senior citizens to celebrate the Christmas season by attending a free screening of the movie Never too Late at the Mount Isa Cinemas on Monday 21 December.

Mayor Danielle Slade said the event proposes to celebrate the end of a difficult year for our community and senior citizens.
"Mount Isa City Council is excited to support this event that aims to spread some Christmas cheer to our community," Cr Slade said.
"The ticketed event will offer a free movie along with a complimentary drink, popcorn and ice-cream and will offer an opportunity for residents to catch-up with one another."
