New South Wales' based Balloon Aloft is partnering with Yagurli Tours for a hot air balloon experience with a difference this month.
First started in 2020, the partnership allows visitors to take flight over the extraordinary landscape of Burketown in the Gulf of Carpentaria for a once in a lifetime ballooning adventure.
Enjoy views like no other of the spectacular Gulf Country including Australia's largest salt pan, Albert River and out over the ocean.
Balloon Aloft said this was a chance to see this beautiful natural landscape from a whole new perspective, while learning about the rich cultural heritage of the land and the unique flora and fauna from local Gangalidda and Garawa crew.
Sunrise flights are scheduled daily during July only and are 30-40 minutes in duration. All flights are followed by a champagne celebration with the pilot and fellow passengers upon landing.
