Organisers say that following the cancellation of the sold out 2020 Big Red Bash in early April, they offered ticketholders the choice of a refund or to hold on to their tickets for the 2021 event at Big Red sanddune 40km west of Birdsville on July 6-8.
Ticketholders have until September 30 to request a refund and so far 10 percent have taken up the offer.
A limited number of tickets for 2021 go on sale 9am Tuesday and organisers say people should get in early.
"As more refunds continue to be made as we approach the September 30 refund deadline we will continue to offer for sale any tickets that are refunded," the Bash said in a statement.
The Bash said all tickets are offered on a pay up front basis only and there is a slight increase in the price of these new tickets due to a range of cost increases faced by the festival.
All the performers due to play in 2020 will be there for 2021 including Paul Kelly, Tim Finn, John Williamson and Kate Ceberano.
