Outback at Isa re-opened its doors on Monday June 15 just over five weeks since a fire destroyed the ceiling of the cafe.
It was fortunate there was people nearby on the Saturday of the fire and it was put out quickly minimising the damage to the cafe area.
With a new ceiling in place the cafe re-opens to the public today.
Also reopened are the gallery, the Isa Experience, and the Hard Times mine tours, as tourists finally start to arrive in the area - at least from Queensland.
The cafe will be open 9am-4pm, 7 days a week.
"This means you can head underground on a guided mine tour, check out the current exhibition in our art gallery, wander through the museum and relax in the cafe," Outback at Isa said on their Facebook page.
The Riversleigh museum which is being renovated is almost ready and will be re-opened in the coming weeks.
