This year saw the biggest field of competitors for some time with four visiting golfers joining the ranks from Hughenden and the Sunshine Coast.
Perfect golfing conditions on the first two days bolstered the enthusiasm of all competitors to return their best results for some time. Overnight, expected weather changes arrived in the form of blistering cold 30 km winds to make the golfing tough.
Sciascia held her cool, setting up strong rounds of 86, 85 and 88 narrowly defeating her strongest opponent, last year's champion Kirra White by two strokes.
Sciascia's gross total of 259 was highlighted by her controlled tee shots and accurate chipping, delighting the crowd of spectators on the final day.
