Ms Baker, 53, lost her life in a tragic car crash at the junction of Grace St and Simpson St on Sunday night.
Friends say she was picked up by a friend at 7:55pm that evening to go and enjoy a night out and "didn't even make it 500m from her house before she was tragically and unnecessarily taken from us".
In the fundraiser Lily Pigliafiori said Ms Baker was loved by many far and wide and was well known to light up any room with her contagious smile, laugh and beautiful glow.
"You could feel how much she loved you and everybody around you because she had the most beautiful loving attributes and the most incredible huge heart. She will be missed but never forgotten and her memory will live on through her family and friends," Ms Pigliafiori said.
"We say goodbye for now but we hope to see you again soon. we love you Olive."
The GoFundMe page is asking for financial assistance in this time of sadness and need to help with the funeral costs.
"Any donation is appreciated and we really appreciate it and we know Olive would also," the page said,
