The race, described as one of the toughest events on the planet, takes teams through a 20km obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test people's strength, stamina mental grit and camaraderie.
A group of determined health professionals who preach physical fitness will take on the Sunshine Coast course this Saturday with a Pharmacist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, and Social Worker in their ranks.
Team captain Peter Wallace said the group of seven trained for the last 12 weeks leading up to the race.
"Hopefully we're all fit enough, we're all looking forward to it," he said.
"It's been difficult considering there's been no rain, we call ourselves the Isa Dusters because there is no mud around to train in."
Between sessions at the gym, running around the city and traversing the river bed for resistance training the group also found time to compete in the Outback to the Stack race, yielding some impressive results.
"Aiden Hobbs won the half marathon ...so he'll be a credit to the team and help us get through," Mr Wallace said.
"Four of us did the half marathon and our main aim was to finish as a team and that's the Tough Mudder mentality."
Team member Selina Cunningham said the group's mantra was Yoda's "Do or do not, there is no try".
Mr Wallace said if there was one real tradition, it was Ms Cunningham's motivational skills that would give them the edge.
"When we're struggling we're relying on Selina to say "Giddy Up" to keep us motivated, if we've got one tradition that's probably it."
The team nutritionist also recommended an early pancake breakfast to keep the team going throughout the course.
Isa Dusters fly to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast today before pulling on their running shoes on Saturday morning to have a crack at the hardest race around.
