MOST rodeo weekends, bullriders are busy in the chutes – supporting each other as they wait their turn to get up close and personal with a bull.

But these bullriders took time out during the Isa Rodeo weekend to get up close and personal with something totally different – more than 100 bras.
Donning their chaps and hats, they were supporting the World’s Longest Bra Chain and raising money for cancer research.
Cowboy Andrew Illingsworth has experienced the trauma of cancer first hand.
After been diagnosed at 10 years of age with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Illingsworth went through almost three years of treatment.
Currently in remission, Illingsworth was happy to encourage his mates to join in for the photo shoot.
“We all have been touched by cancer, either ourselves or through friends or loved ones,” Illingsworth said. “Anything we can do to help raise funds for cancer research, we will do.”
Mount Isa co-ordinator for the World’s Longest Bra Chain, Sue Wicks, was thrilled that the cowboys turned up.
“Sitting among 100 bras is a far cry from sitting on the chutes waiting for their bull ride,” Ms Wicks said.
“We appreciate the guys’ support”.
Bras can still be donated at Brogdens, the Webb Street Post Office, Curves and Outback at Isa until September 15.
