Charges are connected to the death of cleaning subcontractor Jordan Richard Taurima.
Mr Taurima was 29-years-old when he died at the mine’s copper smelter on March 6, 2013.
A Department of Natural Resources and Mines statement published in June, 2014, alleged at the time that Mr Taurima died from a dislodged sump pipe.
The Glencore owned mining company faces three charges of failing to discharge a health and safety obligation.
Contractor Chelden Pty, which is connected to the same matter, faces two charges of failing to discharge a health and safety obligation.
These matters were first heard in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
Both companies are listed for hearing in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on October 19.
