A 49-year-old man was airlifted after he fell almost three metres from a ladder and sustained suspected neck, head, and upper limb injuries.
He was airlifted from Cloncurry Hospital to Mount Isa Hospital on Friday evening and travelled in a stable condition.
A woman in her late 50s was airlifted from Cloncurry Hospital yesterday by the Mount Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter with a suspected neurological condition.
She was also airlifted in a stable condition.
2016-17 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5252 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
It was also a record year for the Mount Isa RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter which flew 29 lifesaving missions – a 32% increase on the previous year.
