Diesel fuel was leaking onto the road but has now been plugged.
The HAZMAT team has told emergency crews not to move the tanker at this stage.
The fuel will need to be emptied safety before the vehicle can be moved off the road.
Police said there was no reported injuries.
Queensland Ambulance Service have no recorded of the crash.
9:30 am: Emergency crews have been called to a diesel truck rollover on the Barkly Highway this morning.
The accident occurred about 60km west of Cloncurry, near Fountain Springs Rest Area.
The road is still open.
There have been a series of truck crashes on that stretch of highway already this year.
One person was killed on Easter weekend after a fuel tanker collided on the highway about 10km west of Cloncurry.
The highway was closed again in May after another single truck rollover 25kms west of Cloncurry.
