After his batty press conference last week, the maverick MP opened himself up to another round of talk show ridicule.
British comedian John Oliver took aim at Bob Katter on Sunday's episode of his US show Last Week Tonight.
The comedian called out Katter Party senator Fraser Anning’s controversial maiden speech in parliament last week where he argued for a ‘final solution’ to Muslim immigration.
“Which is just not a phrase you want to throw around, for pretty obvious reasons,” Oliver quipped.
“It’s the same reason that we don’t name babies Adolf anymore, or have tiny moustaches, or call yoga retreats ‘concentration camps’.”
Underneath his eccentric personality, is the heart of a truly unpleasant human being

After calling out the senator’s racist rant, he began a satirical assault on Bob Katter, head of Anning's party.
“Underneath his eccentric personality, is the heart of a truly unpleasant human being,” Oliver snipped.
Katter last week defended Anning’s remarks on the basis that the senator never went to university.
“I really hope in Australia you don’t have to go to university to have heard about the Holocaust,” Oliver said.
"In fairness to Katter, he's not just racist, he's also homophobic."
Oliver went on to show a host of old clips of Katter speaking to the media, including his oddball rant following last year’s marriage equality result.
"I could spend all night showing you clips of Katter being terrible.”
Bob’s son Robbie Katter was not caught in the comedian’s cross hairs despite throwing support behind Anning's xenophobic remarks.
The Cambridge-educated comedian has risen to the top of the competitive late-night comedy pile with his pithy jabs at politicians around the globe.
