Mining case against Campbell Pattison dismissed

Mr Pattison was charged in Cloncurry in December for carrying out illegal gold mining at Star Cross Station, Selwyn and the case was adjourned to Brisbane.
Mr Pattison allegedly extracted 54 ounces of gold between November 2016 and February 2017 valued around $100,000. However the Department of Mines presented no evidence and the matter was dropped.
