Close to 100 shire residents took part in the evening’s festivities.
The highlight of the event included a visit from Santa where each excited child received a present from the jolly red-suited man.
Party goers were also treated to a barbecue dinner and Ali S, a country singer , who hails from Boulia entertained the jolly crowd.
The Christmas Party was hosted by Boulia Shire Council in conjunction with Bob and Valda Spilsbury from the Min Min Store and the Boulia State School P and C Association.
The Department of Communities, Disability Services and seniors (obtained by the RAPAD Group) also provided assistance and good cheer at the event.
