The Pioneer house fire was reported at 2.30pm, which saw a quick response from emergency services who extinguished the blaze.
Queensland Police have confirmed that the occupant of the house was not home at the time of the fire and that no one was injured in the incident.
A crime scene remains in place this morning as the cause of the fire is still undetermined.
Queensland Police interviewed witnesses yesterday and the investigation is continuing.
Four fire crews, ambulance crews, local police, local detectives were deployed to the address in Pioneer yesterday.
Queensland Police confirmed there was no damage to neighbouring houses but continued to evacuate houses to the north of the residence as a precaution.
