The Round-Up which takes place next month 180km north west of Julia Creek is working hard to fix up the grounds were inundated in the floods in February.
The committee is embarking on a large-scale clean up and to help with the cost, Saxby was granted $5000 from Ergon 2019 Community Fund grants program.
Saxby can win an additional $5000 by winning the people's choice award through an online vote system.
Voting closes June 9 and multiple votes are allowed.
The club is appealing for support.
"We are currently working around the clock to have our facilities up and running by our annual event on 27-30 June," the club said.
"We cannot do it alone and we cannot do it without the support from organisations such as, Ergon Energy. We are so grateful to receive $5000 funding from them. To secure an additional $5000, please vote for us on all of your devices and share with all your friends."
