Tourists travelling outback Queensland have reportedly witnessed the mysterious Min Min light on their travels near Boulia.
Sightings of the mysterious Min Min light phenomena are reported every year in Boulia but the most recent was reported to the Boulia Visitor Information Centre in May.
Don and Lee-Ann from Maryborough were staying in there caravan on Macsland Station Stay, 23km east of Boulia when they saw a light heading directly towards them around 9pm.
"Thinking it was a motorbike we watched the light. Then it disappeared," they said.
"I was waiting to hear someone get off the bike and hear the footsteps on the gravel, but heard nothing.
The next morning they checked with owner Renee Campbell to see if a motorbike had been on the property.
"There was no one at our neighbouring property so there was no reason for a bike to be out at that time of night," Ms Campbell said.
"We went and had a look the next morning and there were no bike tracks," so it could have been the Min Min light.
"We have had no other reports of sightings on our property but have heard plenty of stories about other sightings around the Boulia area."
