The Families of Flood charity dinner raised $20,000 for the charity in the wake of the devastating floods in February that saw the loss of more than 650,000 cattle.
The event heard from grazier and photographer Jacqueline Curley talk about the flood event followed by a slideshow presentation of confronting photos from the event.
Patrons also heard from Traeger MP Robbie Katter, a Blaze Aid spokesperson and Carpentaria Shire Council mayor Jack Bawden and Richmond Shire Council mayor John Wharton.
The event sold out in a number of weeks with businesses wanting to donate to the cause.
