This was the second business confidence operation and ran from Thursday November 21, through Saturday November 23.
Throughout the course of this operation, police conducted 25 street checks and proactively identified a number of offences including bail, public nuisance, assault, shop stealing and wilful damage offences.
A 13-year-old Pioneer boy was charged with one count each of receiving tainted property and stealing. He was further charged with two counts of serious assault of corrective services officers, in relation to an outstanding matter.
A 13-year-old Pioneer boy was charged with one count each of possess property suspected of being stolen and shop steal. He has since been charged with enter dwelling.
A 14-year-old Townview boy was charged with stealing. He has since been charged with two counts of attempted burglary and one count each of enter premises, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and wilful damage.
A 14-year-old Pioneer boy was charged with one count each of stealing and possess property suspected of being stolen.
A 15-year-old Mornington boy was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, posess knife in a public place and possess utensil.
A 17-year-old Townview boy was charged with one count each of public nuisance, wilful damage and obstruct police.
All six boys will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Officers also issued move on directions to two people and located an outstanding missing person.
