Yesterday we revealed the story of how a man was robbed of his KFC zinger by a naked man who fled the scene.
The plot has thickened after some in-depth investigation.
Chicken theft victim Anthony has told the North West Star the naked KFC bandit was Caucasian and the tattoo on his backside was of unidentified handwriting.
Anthony said his friends couldn't believe it happened, but were also not surprised either with some of the crime lately in the town but he was surprised at the reaction to the story which viral nationally.
"Everyone can't believe how popular it has been, haha," Anthony said.
"A few mates have been snap chatting the KFC driving past laughing about it."
However no additional evidence has emerged of the chicken bandit's whereabouts.
Mount Isa KFC manager Julie Newman said no one came into the store saying their zinger box had been stolen.
"We have CCTV footage of out the front but only security in Brisbane have access to it," Ms Newman said.
Mount Isa Police told the North West Star there were no reports of naked men running around town with or without a box of chicken on Wednesday evening.
Police also confirmed Anthony did not report anything being stolen or report any men of indecent exposure.
This is not the first time bizarre occurrences have taken place at Mount Isa KFC.
Last year in August four men on horseback went through drive thru and were served.
