The lunch for volunteers was held on Thursday December 5 at the Mount Isa Discovery Park hall.
Vice President of the Underground Hospital and Museum Kylie Rixon said the lunch was a chance to say thank you to all the volunteers.
"We have 14 active volunteers and appreciate them a great deal," Ms Rixon said.
"All year they put in a huge effort so it's nice to be able to give something back to them."
Rotary club member Tracy Pertovt said they donated $100 vouchers to the seniors who gave their time this year.
"They have really improved the well-being of the underground hospital," Ms Pertovt said.
Underground hospital volunteer Maureen Copelin had spent a remarkable 20 years helping out.
"I am 88 this month and started when I was 68," Mrs Copelin said.
"I hope to continue to volunteer at the underground hospital for more years to come."
